To celebrate 25 Years of the Land Rover Discovery we wanted to make a film about the amazing journeys the vehicle has undertaken. But we realised the film had already been made, by Discovery owners themselves.

 

And it existed in thousands of clips shot by the owners all over the world. We invited owners to submit their adventures and collaborated with Asif Kapadia, the BAFTA award winning director of the film 'Senna', to create a unique story for a unique vehicle from more than 100 hours of footage.

 

With almost zero paid support, we had allowed fans and owners the world over to be part of the vehicle’s history.
